We offer guided meditation for small groups or private clients to increase awareness, reduce stress, and promote inner calm. Our private Reiki sessions are performed using our hands to gently move blockages through chakras and encourage a healthy flow of energy through our clients' minds and bodies. Annie Kaplon

Owner and Instructor

As a Master Pilates instructor, Annie Kaplon has experience using and teaching mind-body movement through Pilates for over 28 years. Trained by Michelle Larsson, Eve Gentry’s foremost pupil, through the Core Dynamic’s Program, Annie received the legacy of Pilates instruction that Eve had gained at the hands of Joseph and Clara Pilates in the 1930s-1950s. In order to elevate the quality and safety of Pilates practices and maintain the intent and integrity of Joe and Clara’s work, Annie was the founding Secretary for the Pilates Method Alliance in 2000, the only national certifying board for Pilates instructors in the country.

Annie is also an Integrative Health Nurse and Lerner Holistic and Integrative Nurse Fellowship Coordinator for the Lerner Health Promotion-Integrative Health Department at NYU-Langone Hospital. As a nurse for over 32 years, Annie has extensive prior experience in cardiac ICU nursing as well as heart transplant and artificial heart coordination. She has a Master’s degree in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University and is a board-certified Integrative Health Coach from Duke University Integrative Health. She has taught mindfulness, guided imagery, and other forms of meditation, wellness, and self-care. Annie is a Reiki level 2 practitioner pursuing her Reiki masters training. Currently, Annie is focusing on the management of midlife changes during menopause using a holistic multimodality curriculum she has developed to help women during this transition.

Ollie is Annie's chocolate lab and a beloved therapy dog at NYU Langone and New Milford Hospital. He is very friendly and enjoys meeting clients in the studio.

Michelle Saltz

Meditation Instructor

I offer in person meditation which I have coined Meditative Breathwork. It is a gentle practice through which I guide a group through words and music to connect with their own breath and the sensations in the body, quieting the mind and anchoring into the present moment. Learning how to resource by tapping into the present moment is one of the most powerful ways I have found to regulate my own nervous system and those of others.  It has lead to a happier, healthier, more authentic and grounded lifestyle for myself and those that have devoted themselves to the practice.

I have been meditating for over a decade after first learning Transcendental Meditation, and then branching out into other meditative techniques with a variety of teachers. For the past 4 years, I have immersed myself in my own breathwork practice with my mentor, Madeline Giles and have fine-tuned my meditation practice and become a certified breathwork facilitator as well.

In 2022 I began offering Meditative Breathwork to a group of women out of my home studio in Kent, CT and since then,  have had the gift of sharing it with dozens of women in my community. Seasoned meditators as well as those who never thought they would have the patience to sit and meditate have been able to find stillness and peace within themselves through this process, become devotees to this type of breathing and self attunement in community, and deepen their relationships with themselves and each other.

It is my honor, pleasure and privilege to bring this gift to my community.
